En fil d'indienne" Medici velvet curtains

Les rideaux velours Médicis « En fil d’indienne »

The velvet curtains from the "En fil d'indienne" brand are simply gorgeous. So are the other ranges, but my preference is definitely for the "Médicis" range.

These curtains are already occulting thanks to their cotton lining and velvet voile inside. On one side the cotton velvet, behind the beige cotton lining and in the middle, the famous velvet veil. This serves to further protect the curtain from solar and lunar UV.

The detail that makes the difference is the raw linen border all around the curtain. The top border is dotted with brass-colored eyelets, with rings in the same color. The color of the linen border with the rings and eyelets, plus the cotton lining allow for this gorgeous tone-on-tone of beige, natural.

If you want a pair of velvet curtains in autumn colors, why not opt for the Tobacco Medici. For a winter color, you could mix Cactus green with Pimento red. For spring, soft Powder or Lemon would be ideal. For summer, you could go for the highly successful Duck or Orange. Finally if you want neutral, chic interiors, don't hesitate to hang Beige, Souris or Anthracite Velvet curtains on its rod.

Lastly, we dressed a house with a cameo of colors that used absolutely the entire range of the Velours Médicis "En Fil d'Indienne" curtain. All the colors were used and the quality of the rendering was spot on.

To conclude, I could just say that not only is a beautiful Velvet obviously pretty in a house or apartment but above all the velvet curtain (even more so when lined) brings a much greater warmth than other materials such as linen or cotton for example.
